The requirements in the field of e-mobility and stationary storage are constantly presenting cell manufacturers with new challenges, especially when it comes to contacting the cell arresters, for forming and validation at cell level. Extremely sophisticated systems are required here, which keep the contact transitions stable within very narrow limits over the entire contacting period.

These requirements partly demand completely new approaches with spring-loaded contact elements. One way, for example, is a moving scratch contact in automated formatting towers, a method that has already been successfully tested in real-life applications and has proven its worth.

In the ever-evolving world of e-mobility and stationary storage systems, innovation in cell manufacturing and contacting remains essential.
