APPRENTICESHIP AS TECHNICAL PRODUCT DESIGNER (M|W|D)
You create drawings and models for components and assemblies based on technical customer specifications using 3-D CAD programs. The focus of your work is on design-related processes such as calculation, simulation and project support. In addition to the 3-D data set, you prepare the technical documentation in the form of drawings. The central tool for processing the tasks is a high-quality PC workstation equipped with powerful CAD software. Knowledge from the areas of materials technology, manufacturing, assembly and joining processes is taught in this training as well as the handling of shapes and design rules.
